Common Sense Dictates, The Lord Is Coming Very Soon!
I have been advocating this fervently over the last few months. It seems so obvious to me when one considers the threats from Russia, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, China and now quite possibly Pakistan. If someone friendly to the terrorists takes over there, they will have control of nukes. That my friends is incredibly threatening! The Bible declares that the Lord has not appointed His people to His wrath (I TH 5:9). The book of Revelation describes a seven year period in which God pours out His wrath on humanity because of their rebellion against His will. That period begins with Anti-Christ bringing about a "peace" pact between Israel and their enemies for 7 years. The Anti-Christ can not be revealed until God's people are caught away into heaven in what is referred to as the "Rapture" ("the catching away" - I Thes. 4:16-17). The reason that is true is, the Bible says it is the Holy Spirit that holds back the spirit of lawlessness (Anti-Christ) until He, the Holy Spirit is taken away.
II Thessalonians 2 1-10 NIV says:
"1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers,
2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come.
3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness
is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?
6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,
10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing." Christian brothers and sisters, where is the Holy Spirit today? We all know He dwells within our hearts. So, obviously, we have to be gone before God's wrath comes on the earth. This is my comfort. It is what keeps me peaceful in the midst of the chaos that we are seeing everywhere, chaos that will soon bring about unparalleled destruction on earth. Israel's enemies have completely surrounded her and they continue to threaten that they will wipe her off the map. The US is being told that the world in the near future will live on without it's existence a threat which is easy to believe when one remembers that the US is not even mentioned in Bible prophecy. Israeli intelligence believes that Iran is only months away from having an atom bomb and that they already have long range missiles. In other words, Israel is facing possible extinction if they don't neutralize Ahmadinejad and his thugs. Any thinking person can understand that when these wars occur it will incur the kind of devastation described in Revelation chapters 4 through 22. I believe further, that these wars will usher in the Anti-Christ.
A very interesting piece of prophecy is that when Russia comes down against Israel in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, they do so on horseback,
they and all those who come with them (Ezek 38:15), King James Version: Further, they come with bows, arrows and shields, etc. (Ezek 39:9-10): 9. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go
forth, and shall 10. So that they shall take no wood out of the field,
neither cut down Many try to rationalize this fact away, but if you don't take that part of scripture literally, how can you believe any of God's Word? How much more explicit could the Bible be? No, when the Bible says, "horseback" that is exactly what it means. Let me explain how that is entirely possible even in this technological age. The following articles explain in detail the threat of a technology referred to as EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse: Note: It seems to me the Ezekiel war will happen sometime near the middle of the Tribulation period, possibly some what after the middle.
Now that you understand the relevancy of EMPs, you can see how it is entirely possible that Russia could be put out of business by this technology, especially when you understand that Israel has at least 400 nukes and the finest technology available in missiles, fighter jets and Drones (UAVs), etc. You see, Russia is defending Israel's enemies against an attack by Israel. Russian ships are harbored in the Black Sea north of Syria and Iran and on the Mediterranean coast of Syria as well as in the Caspian sea for the express purpose of keeping Israel in check. It is my thesis that Israel will have to neutralize Russia before they can ever take on Iran and obviously, EMP technology is the weapon of choice, especially when one considers that Israel's (Ezekiel 38, 39) enemies will inevitably be reduced to warfare on horseback. Incidentally, Russia has had a cavalry for many years. Also, remember the Bible states, "thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:.. In verse 5 of chapter 38 Ezekiel specifically names, "Persia (Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya". Elsewhere in those chapters other countries are named. I did some extensive research recently and learned that the majority of the former USSR satellite nations are largely made up of Bedouin type peoples. The average family has 3 - 5 horses and you can be sure they are not nags (remember the story (or movie), "The Black Stallion Returns". The number and quality of those people's horses was what made up their wealth.) Even more revealing is the fact that even today, these people are expert at using bows and arrows on horseback. Amazing isn't it.
Intelligence reports are saying that Israel will attack
Iran in the next few months. Though many insist that Israel does not have
the military capability to go against Iran, I would like to point out two
recent situations in which Israel very effectively wiped out military foes,
one in Syria last spring, the other in Sudan, in January of this year:
The above information reinforces my belief that the Lord's return is incredibly close. Personally, I can hardly wait. Yesterday is not soon enough. Maranatha! |
